Is the picture quality on Samsung ue46c8000 tv good?
I am very tempted to buy this TV, does anyone have any reviews of them? Do 2d films look good once they have been converted into 3d? Cheers

Consumer Reports tested a UN46C8000 and rated it very high for picture detail, colors, and contrast, both with 3D and 2D program material.
I'm not aware of any 2D films converted to 3D. The 3D effect is made possible by filming a scene with what amounts to two cameras, one for each eye. If there's a way to do that to something already filmed with a single 2D camera, I haven't heard of it.

I want to buy a new TV from wal-mart that's about 46". Any suggestions or reviews?
I'm leaning towards the sanyo DP46849 because it seems to be the best deal. I've read several ok reviews and not to many bad ones. The sony and samsung tvs just seem way too high priced. I probably wouldn't be able to notice too many minor details in picture or sound.

Sanyo TV just so so . never great before 2008 product.
Sanyo TV start from big screen 40- 55 inc model from 2008 March all are Quality / Reliable TV. but paid must less because of " NAME ".
Since Panasonic total take over Sanyo Group 2008 . Sanyo and Panasonic share the same Technologies .use almost the same Components / Parts / LCD / Plasma display panel . Panasonic TV R & D division Control Sanyo TV section . for those big screen 40-55 inc Sanyo = Panasonic Quality. but Paid for Sanyo prices ! ( * those screen size 37 and below will not as this moment. it take another one year to joint Panasonic designs/Parts use )

How do I get my freeview to work on my Samsung LCD TV?
I am having problems getting my Freeview to work on my TV. I have looked at other reviews which say that I need to be on DTV however this button is not on my remote. The TV does have built in Freeview. I have tried all buttons on the remote and they all just say 'no signal.'

USA is swift to Digital Broadcast since 12 June 2009.you TV should be old vision that only with VHF/UHF analog tuner . there cant work for new digital Free view channel.
you just need to buy an ATSC tuner unit for FREE VIEW Channel . ( available at best buy / TV shop )

Any reviews on the Samsung HL-S6187W 61" HD DLP TV?
I am looking to buy a new HD TV and this one looked good in the store and wondering if anyone has any reviews on it or can recommend something else in that size and price range. Thanks for everyones help!

Good luck on your purchase!! I bought my Toshiba 62" DLP and it blows my older rear projection away!! I paid $2500 at the time but it's probably cheaper now. The only problem is that I had to replace the lamp about 10 months after I bought it. I think this is a common problem with DLP's, so whatever you get, make sure to buy the extended warranty for the extra couple of hundred dollars...it will pay for itself with your first repair...guaranteed!
